Exchange Policy & N.M.C Coins

Exchange only — within 3 days of delivery. You may request an exchange within 3 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unwashed and unworn, with all original tags attached and the original packaging intact.
1. Why we don’t offer returns or refunds
Every Noor Mahal piece is hand-embroidered in limited quantities. Because our designs are in high demand, sell out quickly and have very low availability, we are unable to offer returns or cash refunds. Instead, we offer a fair exchange-only policy — including store credit in the form of N.M.C Coins — so every customer is looked after while our limited stock keeps moving to those who want it.
2. Exchange eligibility
- Exchange requests must be raised within 3 days of the delivery date, from the Exchange tab of your account.
- The product must be unused, unwashed and unworn, free of stains, perfume, deodorant or any signs of wear.
- All original tags, labels and the brand packaging must be intact. Items without original tags/packaging cannot be exchanged.
- Exchange pickup/shipping is arranged after your request is approved.
3. Size exchange (subject to availability)
- You may request a different size of the same piece. Size exchanges are subject to availability — if your size is in stock we confirm right away; if not, we’ll waitlist your request and contact you.
- Available sizes are XL, XXL, XXXL and Free Size.
4. Exchange for a different piece & price difference
- You may exchange your piece for a different design of equal or different value.
- If the new piece costs more: you pay only the difference, online (UPI / card / net-banking) — Cash on Delivery is not available on exchange top-ups. Once the difference is paid, the new piece is dispatched.
- If the new piece costs less: the difference is credited to your account as N.M.C Coins (see below) — not as a cash refund.
- If the value is the same: it’s a straight exchange with nothing more to pay.
5. N.M.C Coins — your store credit
1 N.M.C Coin = ₹1. Coins are held securely in your Noor Mahal account and can be redeemed against any future order at checkout.
- Coins are credited automatically to your account when an exchange results in a price difference in your favour.
- Coins are tied to your registered email address and password — create an account or sign in to view and redeem your balance.
- Redeem coins at checkout: your balance is applied against your order total (1 coin reduces your total by ₹1).
- N.M.C Coins are store credit only. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Damaged or defective on arrival — unboxing video required
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we can only accept the claim with a clear unboxing video.
- Record a continuous unboxing video starting from the moment the sealed parcel is in your hands, showing the shipping label and every side of the package, and continuing without cuts until the product is fully opened.
- Damage, defect, wrong-item or missing-item claims are only honoured when supported by this unedited unboxing video. Without it, we are unable to process a claim.
- Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery, along with the video and photos, to our team. Approved cases are replaced or exchanged.
7. Broken or tampered seal — do not accept
Do not open a parcel whose seal is already broken or tampered with. Refuse the delivery.
- If, at the time of delivery, the parcel’s seal appears broken, opened or tampered with, please decline to accept it and note it with the delivery agent.
- Contact us immediately so we can dispatch a replacement.
- Noor Mahal is not liable for parcels that are accepted with a broken/tampered seal, as we cannot verify their condition after acceptance.
8. Non-exchangeable items
- Custom-stitched, altered or made-to-measure pieces.
- Items marked “Final Sale” or bought during clearance.
- Products without original tags/packaging, or showing any signs of use.
